Lake Charles Reporting Service is a full service court reporting firm that has been serving attorneys in the southwest Louisiana area and in and around the United States since 1987. Melody Yoes, founder of the firm, earned a degree from Louisiana State University in English and Math Education in 1970. After attending court reporting school in the '80s, she became a Certified Court Reporter in 1986. She reported for two years before establishing Lake Charles Reporting Service in 1988.

The goal of LCRS is to produce quality transcripts in a timely manner. LCRS reporters are all machine writers on state-of-the-art computer-aided transcription systems. They are professional, conscientious and eager to help in any way they can. If you want machine writers who have years of experience, Lake Charles Reporting Service is the firm for you. LCRS has an office in Lake Charles and services the entire southwest Louisiana area, including Lake Charles, Sulphur, DeQuincy, DeRidder, Jennings, Oberlin, Oakdale, Leesville, Lafayette, Crowley, Vinton, Iowa and Alexandria.

Our lovely conference room, located conveniently in Lake Charles, can accommodate 30 or more people comfortably.

We provide E-Transcripts, ASCIIs, indexing and condensed transcripts free of charge. Want a rough ASCII or E-Transcript sent via e-mail the same day? No problem. Per request, we can include a color photograph of the witness, daily copy or have your video depositions digitized and synchronized with the transcript for trial presentation. Transcripts burnt to CD will include scanned exhibits as well. Additionally, we can provide a reporter for that last minute job you forgot to schedule a reporter for ahead of time.
